About Me:

My name is Cody Person, I'm currently employed as a Network Administrator, am CCNA Certified, and have a degree in Networking Technology. I also have a small side business which I call Person NETworks. I specialize in Computer software and hardware repair, servers, and networks. Other various skills I possess include, but are not limited to:

  • Microsoft Windows - Installation, repair, streamlining, maintenence.
  • MS Windows Server 2003/2008 - Active Directory, Web Server, and Exchange instances.
  • Experience with DOS, and batch files.
  • Microsoft Active Directory installation, configuration, and maintenence.
  • Novell Netware installation, configuration, and maintenence.
  • Some experience with RedHat/UNIX/Linux.
  • I'v done some work with HTML.
  • A bit of experience with PHP.
  • MySQL experience; database backup, import, queries...
  • Creating and maintaining backups and automated backup schedules.
  • Experienced with Cisco IOS command line interface, switch, router, and SDM configuration.
  • Experienced installing and terminating cat5 ethernet cables.
  • Troubleshooting and mitigation of network, software, and hardware issues.

Services:

Personal Computer Repair:
  • Is your computer running really slow or not at all? I can fix that. Get in contact with me and we can discuss the best course of action to take for your machine. If your machine's operating system is beyond repair, I have alot of experience formatting, reinstalling, finding and installing drivers, and streamlining Windows.
  • Did your power supply or hard drive fail? Any other hardware problems? I can quickly and easily find and install an economically priced replacement.
  • I do some minor data recovery on NTFS hard drives.
  • If your planning on selling your computer/drive, I can ensure that there is no readable data on it.
  • Dont know how to do something? I'm a great teacher. I can and will show you the most efficient method to accomplish your computing tasks!
  • BACKUPS! are a must!!! Creating and maintaing backups and an effective backup schedule is very important. If your hard drive dies, you could easily find yourself at the loss of gigabytes of irreplacable data; like family photos and hard to get music. I can help you find an appropriate backup storage media, and create and maintan an automated backup schedules of pertainent files.
  • I have also some experience with Mac's too.
